Dr. Mahmud Ahmad is a UK-trained Consultant Physician in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and General Internal Medicine with more than 20 years of extensive clinical experience within the NHS in the UK.

He currently practices DTMC and Tawam hospitals , where he is actively involved in the management of complex diabetes and endocrine conditions.

Dr. Mahmud Ahmad has particular expertise in advanced diabetes technologies, including insulin pump therapy and modern glucose monitoring systems, as well as in the management of complex metabolic and endocrine disorders. He served in the UK as Clinical Lead for Young Persons Diabetes Services and Insulin Pump Therapy, reflecting his strong commitment to clinical leadership, governance, and service development.
