About Me

Dr. Rahmani is American board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatology Since 1993, Serving as Chief of Neonatology division since 2004 and as Chairman of Pediatric Department at Tawam. In addition to working as Consultant Neonatologist in 51 bed referral NICU unit at Tawam Hospital since 2004, a member and previous chairman SEHA pediatric service line council since 2012. Dr. Rahmani is a regional trainer in NRP since 1993. He was elected president of Neonatal Society, Emirates Medical Association in 2008.

Graduated from Damascus University Medical School in 1987, then completed Pediatric Residency aHeUMDNJ-RWJ University in New Jersey USA, followed by Neonatology fellowship at Temple University Children Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. he was an assistant professor at Temple University Medical school in 1998, he achieved the rank of Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences , UAE University in 2012 and Adjunct professorof Pediatrics at Khalifa University in 2020. Dr. Rahmani received several awards and recognitions from the American Medical association, American Academy of Pediatrics and Tawam Hospital. In the last 20 years Dr. Rahmani have published over 35 original papers in peer review journals, Over 100 communications and abstract presentations and participated in several international conferences as guest speaker. He currently serve as reviewer, editor, and editor-in chief for several neonatology peer review Journals.
