Dr. Omar Abu-Sa’da has obtained his MBBS degree from University of Jordan in 1995. He completed his paediatric residency at Jordan University Hospital after which he received the Jordanian and the Arabic Boards in Pediatrics. In the year 2006, he moved to Canada where he completed his clinical fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine from University of Alberta and Extensive training in Pediatrics under the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s Special Program. In 2012, Dr. Abu-Sa’da received the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certificates (FRCPC) in Paediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Before Joining Tawam Hospital in August 2015, Dr. Abu-Sa’da worked as a Consultant Neonatologist in Canada and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Abu-Sa’da was appointed as the Neonatology Fellowship Program Director in June 2016 and Deputy Chairman of Academic Affairs in November 2021. He was appointed as member of the Neonatology Scientific Committee at the NIHS in February 2022. Dr. Abu-Sa’da is an adjunct A. Professor at UAE University/CMHS.
