Dr. Chetan Kaur Ruprai

Dr Chetan Kaur Ruprai was trained in the United Kingdom and comes with over two decades of experience in maternal medicine, minimal access surgery, and medical education. She is currently a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Tawam Hospital, UAE, where she is a core faculty member for postgraduate training, CME champion for the department, lead of the Obstetrics Endocrine Medicine Clinic, and holds key managerial roles within the service. Her special interests include the management of high-risk pregnancies, diabetes and epilepsy in pregnancy, and she is proficient in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures; she is also a champion for vaccines in pregnancy, a member of the VTE task force, and actively involved in fetal growth chart initiatives.

As a certified medical educator, MRCOG Part 3 examiner, PROMPT instructor, and invited expert faculty for neonatal examination at postgraduate level, she is widely regarded as one of the most sought-after consultant obstetricians, highly valued by colleagues and resident doctors and very popular with patients for her excellent clinical outcomes and feedback.
